"New year, new flavours," we thought to ourselves as we stepped into January, because what better way is there for us to kick off brand new beginnings than with new specials? Our January Flavours of the Month are Burnt Caramel Hojicha and White Chocolate Honey Almond, one the pleasant result of a dabble with new ingredients, and the other a revival of a flavour we made so long ago it's new to most now. One is an exciting, bittersweet fusion of east-meets-west flavours, the other a heartwarming, simple-yet-satisfying cake. It's almost a metaphor for our outlook in the new year: with excitement for new things to come, and yet holding fast to what is familiar and what keeps us grounded. -- Burnt Caramel Hojicha - Hojicha cake with a burnt caramel whipped cream frosting, topped with a hojicha-burnt caramel swirl buttercream frosting, caramel chips and a piece of house-made hojicha shortbread White Chocolate Honey Almond - Honey-almond cake with a honey butterscotch whipped cream centre, topped with a white chocolate-almond swirl cream cheese buttercream, chopped roasted almonds and a piece of white chocolate almond bark -- Our January specials are available at all our stores, online and for advanced order from now until 31 January 2021.
