C’mon & learn from Chef Benjamin Kirk of The Carbon Chef! 🆕 20th June, 11am – 1pm: Cooking Basics – Knife Skills & Stock Making (Hands-on class for 12 pax) In this workshop, you will learn what trainee chefs learn in their first few weeks in culinary sc hool: How to hold your knife properly, how to make various cuts, and how to keep your knives sharp. Also, you will also learn the techniques of making a good quality stock that will take your dishes to the next level. 🆕 20th June, 2 – 4pm: The Art of Fermentation – Brewing your own Kombucha (Hands-on class for 12 pax) Kombucha has been called the “ancient fermented tea beverage” that is full of probiotics, antioxidants, B vitamins and much more. It is basically a fermented sweet tea that usually undergoes double fermentation to get that bubbly delicious product. Join us to understand the processes of SCOBY fermentation, secondary fermentation, equipment used, and good practices to make your own Kombucha at home!
