Happy International Women’s Day! In celebration of this momentous day, we asked four empowering women to share their thoughts based on UN Women’s theme of the year, “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality”. Meet Zoe Sia, Pastry Chef at Raffles Hotel Singapore. A creative and innovative culinary artist, Zoe is also a mentor in the pastry team and led two of her junior chefs to win two gold medals (one with distinction) in the Food Hotel Asia Horeca Culinary Competition last year! Zoe believes that knowledge has no gender, and learning new technology in the kitchen empowers her to be more innovative and productive in creating fresh, inspiring pastries for our guests.
