TungLok Group is extremely honoured to have welcomed Minister Charlie McConalogue from the Republic of Ireland’s Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, to several of our restaurants on 4 September 2022 as part of his trade mission in Singapore. Together with him was his delegation and members of the Irish media, as well as Irish Ambassador to Singapore Ms Sarah McGrath. As one of Silver Hill Duck’s key F&B partners in selling the premium Irish duck, TungLok Group had the pleasure of hosting the delegation to a tour at Duckland at PLQ Mall, followed by lunch at TungLok Peking Duck’s newest outlet at Velocity@Novena Square and a visit to Lao Beijing. While at TungLok Peking Duck, Mr Micheál Briody (CEO of Silver Hill Duck), and Minister McConalogue also presented a silver plaque to our President & CEO, Mr Andrew Tjioe, to commemorate TungLok’s milestone achievement of selling over 500,000 Irish ducks across our restaurants in Singapore. Our special guests enjoyed an array of our Irish duck creations, such as Duckland’s Crisp-fried Duck Wing Sticks and TungLok Peking Duck’s signature Peking Irish Duck.
