Wearing masks, sanitising hands, attending classes and meetings virtually - these are the ways of life we have grown accustomed to. In our latest "Art In Story", Chutima Na-ubon, winner of the 2020 UOB Painting of the Year (Thailand), Gold Award, Emerging Artist Category, portrays the new normal through her winning artwork “Dining Table 2020”, in hopes of spurring everyone to play their part in reducing transmission and to get through the pandemic together. This acrylic painting is from the UOB Art Collection that spans four decades and consists of more than 2,500 works of art from Asia Pacific and Europe. “Art In Story” is part of #UOBArtExplorer, an online visual arts programme that helps you to learn and to explore the world of art through a comprehensive series of art tutorials, art therapy sessions, art storytelling and virtual exhibitions. Also, stay tuned for the 2021 UOB Painting of the Year Virtual Awards Ceremony as we reveal the Singapore winners, and find out which country winner will be unveiled as the 2021 UOB Southeast Asian Painting of the Year, our coveted top prize of the annual art competition. #UOBandArt #UnitedForYou
