From a grocery store in Scotland, to one of the oldest Independent Bottlers in the world; since 1895, G&M has been trusted with new-make spirit from over 100 Scottish distilleries. An accolade not many have. G&M’s expertise in cask curation allows them to consistently deliver their range of perfectly balanced whiskies which will only carry the G&M name when four generations of experience deems them ready. 𝐆𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐋𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐓 𝟏𝟗𝟖𝟕: Created in 1968 by whisky visionary, George Urquhart, G&M’s Connoisseurs Choice range has featured single malts from almost 100 Scottish distilleries, comprising more than 2000 individual bottlings. This Glenlivet 1987 was bottled at cask strength under this iconic range. Distilled in 1987 and matured in Refill American Hogshead before being bottled on 11 August 2020, there are only 173 bottles of this expression available globally. 𝐓𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐄𝐒: Fresh green apple and sweet dark honey aromas lead to a hint of ripe pear, while an undertone of vanilla pod develops alongside subtle toasted oak. On the palate, smooth and delicate orange peel flavours swim into malted cereal.
