We have reached 500! 500 being the total number of dogs caught under the Trap-Neuter-Release-and-Manage (TNRM) programme, that is. Since the island wide TNRM programme kicked off in November 2018, we have rescued 334 puppies (less than 6 months old) and 166 adult dogs. Of these dogs, we are glad that more than half are females as sterilising them is the only way to bring the population of stray dogs under control. Of the 500 dogs we rescued, 303 dogs (61%) have been rehomed and 73 dogs (15%) have been released. This still leaves us with quite a number of puppies and adult dogs, either in our shelter or with fosterers that we are assessing and training with the intention to rehome,. The TNRM programme is the most humane and effective way to control the stray animal population. If you would like to support us in our endeavour, you can help by donating food to help us trap the dogs. These food supplies can be ordered at discounted rates at: We thank you in advance for your support!
