Established in 2009, the brand celebrates its 12th year anniversary with co-founder Afton and Louis as they recount the events that led up to what RECKLESS ERICKA is today. They started out from her tiny, windowless storeroom at home, opened The Reckless Shop at Stamford House – the first of their many stores over the years, participated in Fashion Weeks, designed for artists performing on local and overseas stages, and garnered international interest from UK's Not Just a Label store, Kuala Lumpur's multi-label Materiel, and Yuji Yamamoto of Re:birth to do 3 pop-ups in Japan. Reckless Ericka now celebrates its 12th year in fashion, a worthy milestone for any local fashion brand. With emphasis on craftsmanship, each collection is produced in ethically sourced factories using quality materials. This concept is a constant narrative for the brand in creating a more sustainable and mindful business that offers an alternative voice to fast fashion, where affordable fashion lasts for a long time.
