💜 ICYMI, Esplanade is Singapore’s first dementia-friendly cultural venue! We have also worked closely with Dementia Singapore since 2016 to develop and conceptualise Sing Out Loud!, a programme that seeks to provide persons living with dementia with the opportunity to deepen their engagement with music through the reminiscence of songs and singing. In 2021, the programme was adapted for the digital space due to the pandemic. This was supported by Ming Yi Foundation 明怡基金會 and conducted via Zoom for seniors from Lions Befrienders and AWWA Dementia Day Care Centres. This December, help us to continue bringing the arts to people of different backgrounds and abilities by virtually adopting a cladding (perhaps for a friend or loved one) at growmydurian.esplanade.com. #esplanadesg #mydurian
