Be equipped with the knowledge to stay safe from tech support scams. ๐ช It's important to know if that technician knocking on your door is the real deal. To be sure, look out for the following: โ Singtel uniform. โ A photo staff pass. โ An authorisation letter or an onsite service request form (digital copy). Do ask to see these items to ensure that they are not scammers posing as Singtel staff. Singtel support staff will never: โ Ask to see your IC. โ Collect any form of upfront payment.
