[VIVOCITY OUTLET OUTDOOR SEATS EXCLUSIVE] A Japanese gourmet experience would not be complete without sake pairing. Our VivoCity outlet will be offering free flow sake, showcasing sake from different prefectures monthly. The inaugural edition in April will feature sake from Yamagata prefecture. Exclusive for alfresco diners, enjoy a 90-minute session at an additional cost of $30 on top of your existing bill. Available on a first-come, first-served basis. Yamagata Prefecture’s sake industry is the first in Japan to receive the Geographical Indication (GI) status. GI is a system of geographic indications that links traditional production methods, climate, soil and other characteristics of the production area with the quality of the offerings and its social reputation. Only sakes made following stringent standards and with Yamagata-grown rice and water can qualify as GI Yamagata sake. Highlights you can savour in April include: • Eau-de vie Shonai’s Junmai Ginjo Kiyoizumigawa Ginnokura, • Kamogawa Shuzo’s Jyunmai Daiginjo Kurodoko, • Chiyokotobuki Toraya’s Extra Dry Junmai Ootora, • Nakaoki Sake Brewery’s Junmai Daiginjo Ikkon Joshin Yukimegami, • Hamada’s Junmai Daiginjo Faucon Yukimegami 38 Namachozou, • Wakanoi Shuzo’s Daiginjo Iidesan, and more.
