The weekend is Fri-nally upon us! We’re celebrating today with a trio of rums by Belgian IB, The Nectar. The Nectar of the Daily Drams range was born from a passion for Scottish single malts shared by two great whisky connoisseurs, Mario Groteklaes and Jan Broekmans. Their research and selection work often draws rave reviews on amateur whisky blogs. We’re excited to welcome these three new rum bottlings onto our digital and physical shelves. First up, Belize 13yo 2007, 70cl, 62.6% ABV Distilled in 2007 at the Travelers distillery, this 13-year-old Belize has aged in bourbon casks and has a profile marked by notes of tropical fruits, chocolate and sweet spices. In the middle, we have Barbados 13yo 2007, 70cl, 50% ABV Distilled in 2007 in the Foursquare distillery, this 13-year-old Barbados rum was aged in bourbon barrels and has a rich and fruity profile marked by notes of raisins, vanilla and tobacco. And finally, we have Panama 14yo 2006, 70cl, 55.3% ABV Distilled in 2006, this 14-year-old Panama rum was matured in bourbon barrels and has a profile marked by notes of honey, pineapple and coffee.
