These rums are entirely aged in the respective warehouses of the distilleries where they were produced: Worthy Park and Hampden Estate. PAPALIN 7 YEARS This rum is a perfect introduction to Jamaican rum for new consumers. Reduced to 47% ABV, it is balanced, approachable and round. Be it neat, on the rocks or mixed, it is easy to enjoy for all spirits lovers. PAPALIN 7 YEARS NAVY PROOF This rum is a limited release rum that is reduced to 57.18% ABV, as a tribute to the historical strength of the blends made for the British Royal Navy. Fun Fact: The alcohol level of 57.18% ABV is known as "proof", which is the strength at which gunpowder will still ignite if mixed with a spirit. This is an ancient way to measure and understand the strength at which rum was bottled. ABOUT PAPALIN Papalin is a project dedicated to rum blends, made by Luca Gargano himself. Papalin is also called a "tropical dependent bottler" as Velier, which owns Papalin, is the only company that forms direct partnerships with distilleries when it comes to sourcing and ageing rums, and therefore depends on the distilleries until the product is bottled. This way, all the projects are planned hand in hand with partners in terms of sourcing and ageing, which always takes place in the official warehouses of the distilleries.
