The Beaux Frères story began in 1986 when Michael G. Etzel, then a wine salesman in Colorado Springs, embarked on a road trip to Oregon with his family and came upon an 88-acre pig farm for sale located on Ribbon Ridge in the Northern Willamette Valley of Yamhill County. He then purchased the farm with his brother-in-law, world-renowned wine critic Robert Parker, hence the name “beaux frères” which means “brothers-in-law” in French. Since then, it has set the standard for modern Pinot Noir in Oregon with award-winning wines that are full-bodied, powerful and opulent. A dynamic and complex wine that retains polish and focus, Beaux Frères Willamette Valley Pinot Noir opens with compelling notes of black raspberry, orange peel and savoury spice that builds richness towards refined tannins. This is a powerful thoroughbred cuvée indeed. #wine #redwine #winecation
