Next up is the second rum that we've bottled thus far and it is from Fernandes distillery in Trinidad! This expression was distilled in 2009, matured for 10 years in a single bourbon hogshead and bottled at a navy strength of 57% abv. One can expect it to be somewhat closed off at first, but after some time it opens up spectacularly to reveal hints of banana, mango, dark chocolate, honey, vanilla, cinnamon and brown sugar. Available by the bottle and the dram (and soon by the flight)!
