This National Day (ND) weekend, Singapore Discovery Centre will be featuring a special exhibition across five heartland locations at ND carnival sites from 6 to 7 August 2022 (www.ndp.gov.sg). Titled ‘We Ado[o]re Singapore!’, it aims to highlight and celebrate the strengths and growth of our nation as we progress towards a better and shared future as one united people. Anchoring the entire exhibition is the theme of ‘doors’ – a metaphorical and physical representation of taking a step towards progress and seizing opportunities. In line with this year’s NDP theme, the exhibition will echo the key theme of Majulah! Stronger Together and cover evergreen topics related to unity, inclusivity, diversity, and graciousness. As we celebrate our nation’s progress, there are also evolving challenges related to sustainability and defence, which will constitute key content touchpoints in this exhibition.
