Dear Audience, We’re sorry to inform you that we have made the very difficult decision to postpone Don’t Call Him Mr. Mari Kita until 2022. We have now run into insurmountable obstacles – from the ever-changing COVID-19 restrictions to scheduling conflicts – that will prevent us from staging the show and much of our 2021 season as originally planned. It breaks our hearts to have to delay Don’t Call Him Mr. Mari Kita once again, but we promise to bring the show back for an extended run in 2022. Ticketholders will be receiving a full refund for the tickets they have purchased through SISTIC. As we have invested so much energy, time and resources into this show, we will be presenting it as a special fundraising event later this year. This will take the place of our traditional Rice Ball, which we are also unable to stage. Thank you, once again, for your enduring support of Wild Rice. Please stay tuned for more information about the rest of our 2021 season, which we will be announcing shortly. Until then, keep safe and well. We look forward to welcoming you back to the theatre very soon! My best, on behalf of all at Wild Rice, Ivan Heng Founding Artistic Director
