A little more than a month ago, Primary 2 pupils from Big Heart Student Care Centre were given a mission - to build a solar-powered vehicle out of recycled materials. This was the first workshop under the 3M Tinkering Headstart at South West Programme, which aims to encourage underprivileged children between the ages of 7 and 12 to learn through play, exploration and experimentation. Here at Kodecoon Academy, we adopt such an application-based mindset in our teaching pedagogy as well! Under our S.P.E.A.R framework, we encourage students to adopt an innovator's mindset under Real-World Application, and strongly encourage them to break limits and create innovative solutions. A prime example of such application-based curriculum would be our Micro:Bit camp, where our students will be creating their own projects using a Micro:Bit and recycled materials. Join us for our Micro:Bit camp now to get a glimpse into our application-based learning style! Psst... Hurry and contact us on Whatsapp at +65 8950 3022! Slots are running out fast!
