[Roost is hiring Part-Time Service Crew!] At Stamfles International, our vision is to feed happiness to everyone, one meal at a time. If you have a passion for food and innovation, you’ve come to the right place! We operate our flagship restaurant, Roost, at Resorts World Sentosa, and as a service crew, you will be stationed there. The Service Crew assists in the daily service operations, which includes taking customers’ orders on POS, helping customers place orders using self-ordering kiosk, answering enquiries pertaining to their meal, providing recommendations on meal promotions, as well as perform cashiering duties. The candidate must serve customers efficiently while maintaining a high energy level. He/She will need to work well with kitchen staff to ensure prompt service to customers. General Responsibilities: - Perform restaurant opening or closing duties. - Prepares condiment for meal service and in-house beverages. - Perform ordering and cashiering duties, ensuring orders placed and payments collected are correct. - Assist customers with ordering at self-service ordering kiosk. - To have good product knowledge to answer customers’ queries on ingredients and menu items. - Able to make recommendations and up-sell. - To greet and provide excellent customer service to customers - attending to their needs promptly and professionally. - Perform general housekeeping and cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, wiping crockery & cutlery, furniture & fittings etc to maintain overall cleanliness of the restaurant at all times. - May need to assist in preparation of meal order / kitchen operations during peak hours if necessary. - Adhere to all F&B safety, health and hygiene policies and procedures. - Maintain quality, service & cleanliness at all times according to restaurant' standards. - Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by manager and supervisor. Requirements: - Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin. - Always maintain high standard of personal hygiene with clean appearance and neatly attired. - Able to work in a fast paced and demanding environment. - Willing to work rotating shifts, on weekends and public holidays. - No prior experience required, though having relevant experience in the F&B Industry, preferably with Basic Food Hygiene certificate, will be an added advantage. - Able to start work immediately / short notice. - Able to commit for a minimum of 3 months. Schedule: Day shift, Flexible hours, Holidays, Monday to Friday, Night shift, Weekends Hires needed: 2-4 people
