Have you noticed that when you are stressed, your body becomes stiff? Conversely, when you are in a relaxed mood, your body feels lighter. In simply moving our body, we can create a positive impact on our emotions. In a music and movement therapy workshop, our FAME Club members were guided in using body movements to regulate emotions and enable better coping with stress, while allowing creativity to flow in the process. Conducted by Movemental, the workshop which comprises 10 sessions seeks to impart practical ways where body movement can improve emotional well-being. Check out the different activities our members did during the workshop. Friendship And Mind Enrichment (FAME) Club is a programme started by BCARE to integrate persons with mental health conditions into the community in a safe and assured manner. #mentalhealth #mentalwellness
