We are honoured to collaborate with Apsaras Arts Dance Company in an Esplanade Co-production of ARISI: Rice, featuring an immersive soundscape created through live Indian and Chinese instruments. A cross-cultural and multi-disciplinary performance inspired by the grains of life that link humanity across Asia, this production features five SCO musicians – Benjamin Boo (percussion), Lee Jun Cheng (dizi), Ling Hock Siang (erhu), Ma Huan (yangqin) and Xu Hui (guzheng), and other multi-genre and talented musicians from India, Singapore and leading Balinese musicians. .
