In response to a recent article in The Straits Times, we will like to reinforce the importance of eating healthier. When having an Asian style diet like the economic mixed rice (i.e. cai fan), choose 2 vegetables with 1 protein (e.g. egg, tofu, stir-fried meat or steamed fish) and ask for brown rice if available. When choosing a Western meal, choose a grilled/baked option over a deep-fried option. For the sides, you can opt for a salad with less/no sauce or grilled vegetables instead. Let us know what you like to eat and we will see how we can give you tips to enjoy it healthily. Remember, a healthy meal does not mean it is non-appetising.
