Art school is an experience like no other. The air is constantly thick with the smell of paint, sweat, tears, unfinished philosophies and sickly idealism. Liu Jianโs ART COLLEGE 1994 captures this essence through the lives and dreams of undergrads in the Chinese Southern Academy of Arts. The latest in Liu Jianโs animated oeuvre, ART COLLEGE 1994 competed at the Berlinale earlier this year, and will screen in Singapore on 3 Dec, 5PM at National Museum Singapore.
