[INVEST] Ascott Reit’s unitholders’ distribution for FY 2017 increased 13% y-o-y to hit a record S$152.2 million. 4Q 2017 distribution climbed 30% to S$43.9 million. The increase in 4Q 2017 distribution was due to contribution from Ascott Reit’s acquisitions as well as one-off distribution from divestment gain. In 2017, Ascott Reit acquired Citadines City Centre Frankfurt, its first property in Frankfurt, expanded its presence in Hamburg and New York with Citadines Michel Hamburg and DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel New York – Times Square South, and added the premium Ascott Orchard Singapore.
